LAURA Targgart
A long-time Marin resident, Laura has made a career change from 40 years as a Marine biologist, to part-time cat groomer where she had volunteered for six years, and part-time Sunday School coordinator at her church of more than 30 years. When she is not spending time with cats or kids, you would likely find her puttering in the backyard garden, supervised by her cats – Mukik, Marco, and Stormy (he’s the Friday spa-greeter and Pam’s BFF).

PAM Nichols
Animal lover Pam was born in upstate New York and raised in Southern California. And, yes, she is a Lakers fan! Pam worked for 40+ years as a legal secretary; operated her own pet sitting business; and now enjoys working with all the kitties at the spa.

Pam volunteered for 12 years at the Marine Mammal Center caring for sick and injured marine mammals. Pam also traveled the U.S. with her musician husband, Randy, and their three cats (Pumpkin, Sake, and Lily), visiting numerous states and 15 national parks. After traveling for six months, they settled for two years in Atlanta, Georgia. Although they enjoyed living in Atlanta, they missed California and moved to the Bay Area in 1988. Pam enjoys practicing yoga, traveling, biking, wine tasting, and trying new Bay Area restaurants. Pam and Randy live with their spoiled senior kitty, Rocky.

ANNIKA Hulquist
Born in San Francisco and raised in Mill Valley, Annika is a senior at Tamalpais High School and hopes to go a pre-vet route in college. She has grown up with cats of her own her whole life and started a cat-sitting and dog-walking business at a young age. She has a passion for helping animals, and at home, she has 2 cats, a dog, and a guinea pig.
